Welcome home

House rules:

  1. We’re always down for a good time, but please, no parties, or events. Limit 8 people total at any time, including registered home guests.

  2. We have a no-smoking rule in our home. If you do wish to smoke, we ask that you do so outside.

  3. Treat our home as if it was your own.

  4. Check out is at 11am.

  5. We highly suggest wearing footwear outside as the ground is covered in nature.

  6. Relax, sit back, and enjoy your stay.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. In the meantime, you might find your answers here:

  • Network name: Plant Delivery Service

    Password: 999999999

    Yes, it’s 9 nine times.

  • Your unique Yale code is the last 4 digits of your phone number registered with AirBnB.

To unlock the door, simply enter your code and press the checkmark button. To lock it on your way out, just press the Yale logo and wait for the chime.

If you do not, or you hear the bolt open and close repeatedly, it usually means the door is not all the way closed.

Please, please remember to always lock on your way out, as it does not automatically lock behind you.

  • We’ve installed a security system to use between guests’ stays. However, you are more than welcome to use it as well.
You can use the same 4-digit code as your door code to activate and deactivate the security system.

  • Our home is equipped with a whole-house filtration system, meaning the water from any faucet is filtered.
For an extra layer of filtration, the water tap to the left of the kitchen faucet goes through an extra filter located below the sink.
For a third layer of filtration, the water that comes out of the fridge dispenser, including the ice, goes through a third Kitchen-Aid fridge filter.

    All filters are regularly maintained.

  • Our home has central air conditioning and heating that is split into two zones.
The first zone is the living room/dining room/kitchen, and it is controlled by the thermostat in the dining room to the left of the art.
The second zone is the two bedrooms plus the bathroom. This zone is controlled by the thermostat in the room towards the back of the house (to the right as you enter the hallway).

  • Our 85” TV is equipped with both Apple Airplay and Chromecast to stream anything directly from your phone, tablet, or laptop. For this to work, you have to be logged onto our wifi network, Plant Delivery Service.
The sound system is hooked up to automatically turn on with the TV, so there should not be anything to do on your end. You don’t even need the controller for the amplifier, as you can control everything with just the TV controller (the one with the Netflix button on it). Simply sit back and relax.

If you’d like to listen to music without the TV being on, you can Airplay or Cast directly to the Amplifier. You should find it under the name Sony Amp.

  • Our record player is available for our guests to enjoy responsibly.
To use the record player, set the amplifier to SA-CD/CD input. You can do this by rotating the input wheel on the amplifier, or my pressing the SA-CD/CD button on the controller. The controller for the amplifier is the one with the diamond in the middle with the large purple home button bellow it.
Once the record player is turned on by pressing the on button, the platter will automatically begin to spin once the arm is moved over the record.
While you can simply lift the arm and drop it on the record, it is best if you lift the lever at the base of the arm, move the arm into position, and lower the lever. This will automatically lower the arm for you gently over where you left the arm.
This goes the same for lifting the arm.
The arm should automatically return to its place once the record is done playing all the way through.

  • Checkout is at 11 am. All we ask for is that you make sure the door is locked behind you and that you make it home safe and rested.
